WORKSHOP
Creative Club – with Artists Clubhouse (free to attend)
Creativity can help us to become as resilient as a Pigeon!
Pigeons are among the most resilient birds, brought to the UK hundreds of years ago as a food source and then domesticated as messengers; they have since become wild and survive, even thrive despite the external forces put upon them. Let’s be more pigeon!
Join us for Creative Club to explore the connection between creativity and wellbeing. Using a range of playful and reflective techniques, we will experiment with how creative practice might help us feel calmer, freer, and more resilient.
Creativity is proven to support overall wellbeing. We want to give you the time and space to build that regular me time and learn to prioritise play. Through a mix of guided exercises and open exploration, you’ll have the chance to test new ideas and discover the joys of creativity.
This series of workshops invites you to investigate expressing yourself, finding yourself and really relaxing; exploring your inner artist and building up to give you creative opportunities to share your creations.
No prior art experience (or belief in your own “artistic skill”) is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to play. All materials are provided along with drinks and snack options.
It’s time to stop worrying, stressing and scrolling and start celebrating our unique creative selves.
Please note: we are not mental health professionals. If you require mental health support, we encourage you to seek guidance from appropriate services.
