Yasmin is one of the directors here at the Artery and we are so lucky to have her around, she is one very special human being. A very talented artist and educator, Yasmin also runs our extremely popular After School Art Clubs and a host of other creative workshops.
I am a mixed race, queer, neurodivergent visual artist, creative practitioner and performer hailing from Somerset, via Bristol and London and now residing in Worcester for the last 7 years.
After graduating from Camberwell College of Arts gaining a degree in Illustration for Sequence and Interaction, I decided I wasn’t a commercial illustrator! I am committed to challenging the way I work and I’m pretty lawless in my execution, using emulsions, sprays, posca pens, acrylics and an orbital sander on occasion. The blank page is a thrilling adventure to me. I’m always working on at least 10 paintings at a time.
