‘Revel, Revel’ is all about creativity. It celebrates creativity in the form of making art and in bringing people together to do the very same.
Featuring the work of eight artists, the pieces range from the playful to the passionate, the expressive to the experimental. The meditative to the meaningful, the intricate to the intangible. Revelling in the act of creation, each of the works on show revels in the artistic process.
‘Revel, Revel’ invites you to step into a world where imagination is boundless and creativity is joyful.

I’ve been described as a little bit Jessica Day from New Girl, with a hint of Liz Lemon from 30 Rock, and just a smidge of Karl Pilkington—and I think that sums me, and perhaps my art up pretty well.
Creativity has always been part of my life. Encouraged by my mum to make things from a young age, I developed a love for fashion and costume, eventually studying to a Master’s level. But despite the technical skills I gained, I never quite found the creative outlet I craved.
Then, in 2020, during the first lockdown, I picked up a paintbrush. What started as an experiment quickly became a passion. Shortly after, I was diagnosed with Stage 3.5 Melanoma, requiring surgery and treatment to stop it from spreading. In the midst of uncertainty, painting became my happy place—a source of relaxation, joy, and purpose. Since then, I’ve painted almost every day. It’s my coping mechanism, my calm, and my fulfilment.
I am drawn to single-item studies, finding art in everything—from nature to everyday objects. My work blends contemporary realism with a pop-art twist, inviting viewers to discover personal meaning in each piece. What seems random to one person may spark nostalgia or emotion in another:
What is random to one is filled with meaning and memories
to another, which is magical to me!
In this exhibition I have curated a mix of works, featuring both painting and fabric creations.
Watercolour has become my favourite medium in recent years—I love its unpredictability and range from light and translucent to the ability to build up layers.
My passion for fabric has never faded. The ability to transform a flat material into something three-dimensional fascinates me. As someone who cares deeply about the environment, I’m drawn to up-cycling, repurposing scraps that might otherwise be discarded. This collection of fun flags breathes new life into forgotten materials, again inviting viewers to find their own meaning and memories in each piece.
This exhibition is filled with joy, and I hope you can feel that in the work.

I’m fascinated by colour and how it works, the science behind it, and how it creates optical illusions playing on the eyes. In my paintings, I push colour to the edge of hypersaturation. My themes are rooted in the natural world, but they’re not tied to realism. The work drifts into that liminal space between reality and abstraction.
I’m drawn to landscapes and the seasons, and I like to recreate them in a way that gives them this dreamlike, almost trippy quality.
I studied Fine Art at university, and a lot of what I’ve learned has come through exploration through trial and error, experimenting with materials, and layering acrylics to build depth and atmosphere through glazes and texture. Over time, I’ve developed a bold, recognisable palette.
I never use black shadows are built with deep reds and dark blues to keep the energy alive and the colours luminous.
After a long break from painting, I came back to it five years ago, and I haven’t stopped since. I can’t imagine not creating now. For me, painting is how I make sense of the world and connect with people. It brings purpose, light, and a little bit of magic into my life.

Mark Harris (KRAM SIRRAH), creator of Whatever Is in My Head at the Time.
With personal issues starting to impact my mental health, through 2023, I was going through my worst. However, acknowledging my differences and making the decision to seek help and support has made a huge impact on my life. I decided to explore, as part of my journey, my love of art. This was always something I’d put on the back burner due to other life commitments seemingly being more important.
I acknowledged this was a mistake in not allowing time for myself, so I started going to art classes on Mondays, my day off. This inspired me to hire a studio in The Artery. I’ve been to many workshops, which in turn has given me a community of fellow creators and new friends. I’m very proud of how far I’ve come. If sharing my journey helps one person to seek help, I would be happy.
There is still too much stigma regarding mental health. I would like to thank my fellow creators for creating a community that’s not only inspiring, supportive, and full of amazing people.
I let my art speak for itself.
K. SIRRAH – SIRRAH. Whatever will be – will be!

@innerknowings
Hi I’m Inner Knowings, also known as Lorna, a creative and workshop facilitator who’s passionate about using creativity as a tool for mindfulness and mental wellbeing.
For me, creativity is more than just a hobby, its a source of joy, a way to process thoughts/ideas and, in many ways, it’s my meditation. It also connects me to some really wonderful people, which I’m enormously grateful for! Not a day goes by without me being inspired or learning something new!
My artwork is essentially about exploration and ‘play’. I’m often known to say ‘I just get an idea then make it up as I go along’. I get so much joy and freedom in releasing perfectionism and going with the flow, letting pieces organically come to life instead of fixating on how something should or shouldn’t ‘look’.
Currently, I’d describe my work as an ongoing exploration of mixed media. I love collage, doodling, and up-cycling, and I’m hugely inspired by retro aesthetics and nostalgic design. I constantly have more ideas than time, and I genuinely find inspiration everywhere.
I aim to balance my own ‘creative timeout’ with helping others discover theirs. Through community sessions and collaborative projects, I encourage people to explore techniques that support wellbeing while having fun. I truly believe everyone has creativity within them—it’s just about finding the right way to connect with it.
Past projects include The Big Worcester Doodle and painting Doodle McZenguin for the Waddle of Worcester Penguin Trail—an absolute dream come true!
If my work can do anything, I hope it inspires others to follow their dreams, believe in themselves, and embrace creativity without judgement. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me next!

@designs.by.parth
I am Parth Trivedi (Designs by Parth), a Worcester based self-taught artist, and I love drawing the world around me. I work full-time as a Product Engineer but during my free time, I love drawing, attending art workshops, exhibitions and learning new art techniques to develop myself as an artist. I find art to be so therapeutic; it allows me to de-stress and be creative.
My preferred medium is ink. I love working with fineliners, gel pens and dip pens. My preferred techniques involve parallel lines, contour lines, wavy lines, crosshatching and more. I love combining different mediums such as markers and paints with ink. Currently, I am developing my techniques with a ballpoint pen.
I am inspired by the works of:
Karl Kopinski
Kim Jung Gi
Peter Han
Rembert Montald
My goal as a self-taught artist is to inspire and empower the people around me by sharing my knowledge and experiences of inking techniques with them via workshops.

I am a photographer working in digital images and film.
My work looks to explore the intersection between light and dark, heaven and earth, faith and fear. As such, many of his images can be seen to revel in the majesty of the natural world around us, in the overwhelming sense of wonder that comes with watching the sunrise, and in the awe that can be experienced when standing alone in a vast landscape. At the same time however, my work also embodies a sense of fear – alluding to personal feelings of insecurity and insignificance as also the intangibility of life.
In doing so, I draw inspiration from an ever-expanding and ever more eclectic range of sources. For the images on show here, my inspiration has come from the lyrics of songs by the Kinks, Kate Bush and Emma Ruth Rundle; from watching films such as ‘The Wicker Man’, ‘The Witch’ and ‘Midsommar’; from recent trips to the Isle of Skye and the islands of Hoy and Orkney; from reading folk horror and about folklore; from visits to graveyards and revisiting the gospels; and from an abject fear of getting lost in the forest.
I first became interested in photography shortly after leaving school when I took an evening class about how to use an SLR camera while also learning how to develop film and print your own photographs. However it wasn’t until decades later with the advent of digital did my passion for photography really begin. Having learned how to use different types of digital camera, I not only nowadays display and sell my photographs but also publish them online and in a handful of self-curated zines.
A born and bred Londoner, I currently live in exile in the Worcestershire countryside along with my two miniature Schnauzers where I balance my day job with long walks and appreciating the little things in life. I am a published author and academic.

I’m a Worcester-based exhibited artist, production designer and film festival producer who, using mainly acrylics and ink, creates surreal, macabre and otherworldly pieces that aim to enthral you, wrap you up in mystery and give form to impossible and improbable things. I draw my inspiration from pop culture and the natural world.
Having been obsessed with film and music for as long as I can remember, I found myself wanting to translate and adapt the feelings these mediums gave me into striking artworks.
Escapism is at the centre of my creativity, fuelled by beautiful visuals, mesmerising lyrics, ethereal sounds and captivating stories, I hope you find yourself swept away. These pieces are windows to my mind, showing you what themes and topics stimulate me and drive my passions.
Art has followed me through my life since I could pick up a pencil and continues to in so many different, new and exciting ways. From filmmaking to art workshops, I have found such a vibrant community in my hometown and I am thrilled to be featured in this collaborative exhibition alongside so much local talent.
Enjoy my dreams made real and if you find yourself taking another, deeper look, you might find the otherworld looking back.

In looking, I’m drawn to the details—a single object, a moment, a pattern.
My work is inspired by the transient arrangements left by the sea:
random items connected by the tides’ quiet choreography.
The shoreline is my sketchbook.
Where land and sea meet—between calm and storm—rocks, stones, pebbles, glass, shells, weed, rubbish, and life are endlessly rearranged.
Tide in, tide out. Over and over.
With each return, new lines are drawn: collections of sea sweepings, fleeting and ever-changing.
I try to catch these moments in my work.
Moments that feel accidental, but are full of meaning.
Fragments of time and tide, stilled.
