WORKSHOP
Upcycling for Beginners - A Wearable Transformation Workshop with Dopamine Divas
SUNDAY SESSION – Upcycling For Beginners: A Wearable Transformation Workshop
Due to popular demand, we have added a second date for our upcycling workshop!
Sunday 20th September, 11am-2pm
Part of the Dopamine Divas Pop-Up Shop
You know that shirt. The one at the back of the wardrobe, his, theirs, yours, a charity shop find, that’s fine, but not exactly YOU!
We’re fixing that in our upcycling workshop!
Bring a shirt and spend an afternoon turning it into a wearable piece that’s entirely, unmistakably yours – patchwork, visible mending, embellishment, colour, texture, a bit of glorious chaos. All by hand. No machines, no “doing it properly,” no rules about what goes with what.
What to bring: A shirt – long or short sleeve, cotton works best, and fits you as you like, or even better, is oversized – We won’t be going into adjusting the fit at this particular workshop. Charity shop finds are perfect (and very on-brand).
If you need any help with what to bring, send us a message! This is your canvas for the day, so pick something you’re excited to transform, not just something spare.
Stains, small holes, a wonky button, bring it anyway. Nothing needs to be pristine; we’re patching and embellishing, so a bit of “damage” just gives us somewhere to start.
What you’ll learn: Hand-sewing techniques for upcycling your ‘blah’ shirt into something that you’ll love, and love to wear! Something that reflects your gorgeous personality! You’ll learn the skills to take any “boring” shirt and make it beautiful, wearable, and entirely reworked.
Who it’s for: Absolute beginners to confident stitchers, everyone is welcome!

Getting here
We’re tucked away in the railway arches on Croft Walk, Worcester WR1 3BD, right by The Hive and just a few minutes from Worcester city centre.
On foot
From Worcester city centre, head towards The Hive and the river. We’re along Croft Walk, at the bottom of the railway arches. It’s around a 5–10 minute walk from the city centre.
From Worcester Foregate Street Station
We’re really easy to find. Walk directly out of the station and follow the railway arches down towards The Hive. We’re at the bottom, just before you reach The Hive — around a 5-minute walk.
By car
There are several car parks within walking distance. Croft Road and Cattle Market are both nearby. Croft Road is in the green parking zone, while Cattle Market is in the amber zone.

Most city-centre bus services stop within easy walking distance. Head towards Foregate Street / The Hive, then follow Croft Walk towards the railway arches.
