As you soak, stretch, and weave, you will feel the drum’s spirit awaken, its presence becoming part of your own heartbeat, calling you deeper into alignment with the natural rhythms of life.
A Journey of Rebirth
Birthing a drum mirrors the cycles of life, death, and rebirth, the weaving of time and season. As we craft, we move through the sacred wheel of the year, honouring each phase of life. Our hands become storytellers, infusing the drum with our journey, our prayers, our song—a living connection to our ancestors and the rhythm of existence itself.
What the Day Includes:
- Birthing your own 16” drum from full hides—crafted with intention, not pre-cut kits
- Choice of responsibly sourced hides & hoops (e.g., Sussex Deer/Goat, Oak, Willow, Ash)
- Crafting a beater to accompany your drum
- A guided drum journey recording to meet the spirit of your drum in your own sacred space
- Honouring the process with blessings, herbs, song, and intuitive prayer
We work from raw materials, not kits, ensuring that the process is deeply immersive and ceremonial—a full day of transformation and creation.
