As not all artists from The Artery Studios are participating in this year’s WOS, artists Catt Standen and Joshua Rouse took the decision to showcase their studio spaces within The Artery Gallery (Arch 29) alongside their exhibition ‘Thoroughfare’ rather in their original spaces in Arch 28.
Malvern based artist, Heather Mason is a painter and photographer who is also new to take part in this year’s WOS. She will be joining Catt and Josh in a temporary studio space in Arch 28.
During the WOS expect to see a variety of work from mixed media and photography to the behind the scenes of how exhibitions are put together.
This is the first year Catt, Josh and Heather have taken part and are excited to see what the event brings.
Worcestershire Open Studios (WOS) was founded in 2015 and is the largest free art event in the county. It is a non-profit organisation and is run by three artists, Sally Morgan, Richard Nicholls and Gillian Simpson, sponsored by Bevere Gallery and Elmslie House Venue and Gallery.
