Scala Festival of Play is a day-long festival for children aged 3-11 and their families, with circus, aerial arts, gaming, dance, street games, drumming and visual arts.
Join us in and around The Arches and The Hive (Worcester) on Saturday 23 May for a day of free and fun activities for everyone. Festival of Play is brought to you by Scala, Worcester’s newest arts venue, currently under development in Angel Place.
Festival goers are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy music on the grass behind The Arches.
Accessibility is at the heart of the festival. Visitors will be able to access changing places, accessible toilets and seating as required. Wellbeing kits including ear defenders and fidgets will be available, along with access to a quiet space and sensory space. All staff and volunteers will be able to advise visitors on these facilities on the day.
