Portrait painting in oils from a photograph weekly class
All abilities welcome.
£180 for up to 10 people.
Every Wednesday for 10 weeks from January 10th- 20th March. 7-9pm
(Break 14th Feb for half term)
This course takes you through a step-by-step process on oil painting.
I will begin with a short demonstration on what you will be doing that
day and then will guide you through completing a painting. The class
is structured to make oils an approachable subject. You will learn the
basic palette, mediums, painting technique, how start a painting, and
how to bring life to a portrait. The course is suitable for all
levels, from people who have never drawn before, to full time artists
wanting to try a new technique or medium. There is something to learn
for everyone.
You are welcome to bring your own photograph, or I can provide one for
you, please specify this to me beforehand.
This workshop will be hosted at the brand new artery studios. Just
under the arches of Worcester. It is a 5 min walk from the station.
Nearby is Croft Road, under the viaduct, just the other side of the
main road to the hive car park which is £3.80 for the day Arches 28,
29 Croft Rd, Worcester WR1 3BD.
